Winter Installation

Can Full Armor Windows and Doors install in the cold winter months? Of course we can!! In the cold winter months, we use a climate controlled expandable foam which allows for a proper cure. This slow expanding foam is specifically made for the cold as it will not react to the cold temperatures to give you a proper seal. Other foams expand too quickly in the cold, which will allow air voids in the insulation around your window frame from an improper cure. The consequence of this is cold air in your home during the frigid winter months, uncomfortable hot air in the summer months and increased utility bills. This is limited however, to windows and doors. Usually the temperatures in Nebraska and Iowa are too low for proper roofing, vinyl siding and paint installations during the winter months and is not recommended. This doesn’t mean we can’t get your project started with planning and ordering of products that may have an extended manufacturing time. Then once the weather changes, you would be the first to have your full project completed.

Prior to Installation

Pre-Installation Appointment

Within 48-72 hours of your inquiry, a representative from our service team will call to set-up a pre-installation measure and order appointment for your windows/doors. Two business days following the appointment, the order will be submitted to ProVia.

Within 4-5 weeks of your submitted order, we will provide an update on the progression of your hand crafted product(s).

Schedule Installation Appointment

Once your order has arrived at our warehouse, you will receive a call to schedule your installation appointment. Once scheduled, our Installation Manager will provide the estimated duration of the installation.

Installation Reminders

You will receive two notices prior to your appointment:

The 2 days prior to your installation appointment, a representative will contact you as a reminder.
The day of the installation, one of the crew members will notify you when they are on their way; expect the Full Armor crews to arrive around 8:30 – 9AM for morning installs.
If you have an afternoon installation appointment, a crew member will call you with an estimated time of arrival.

During Installation

Floor runners will be laid around the work area during setup.
Installers will dispose of the original products accordingly.
Crews will ensure the work area is cleaned of any debris.
New products will be cleaned of fingerprints, mars and window stickers.
Installers will demonstrate the operation of the new products prior to leaving.

After Installation

Schedule Walkthrough

Within 48-hours following installation, your sales consultant will call to schedule a walkthrough of the completed projected

Walkthrough

During the walkthrough, your representative will review the following:

Review of warranty information and registration.
Review of Referral program details.
